Studies have shown that under this control, crustal movement of Fujian reveal north-south partition modern, which means crustal activities in the south shows strong and rising with weak and falling in north. In history distribution of strong earthquakes are distributed basically the east of southern rupture zone and adjacent sea areas so that centralization of Earthquake in southern area is formed. Environmental shearing strength value is concentrated in the south area of transverse tectonic belt of Taizhong-Jinjiang with the north-west features. |

| Fracture dominates the north-south difference of neozoic crustal deformation and current crustal movement in Fujian. Research shows that primary characteristics of the crustal movement in Fujian are greatly controlled by this fracture, summarized as follows. The current crustal movement is distinct between north and south Fujian, stronger and more frequent in the south than in the north. Historically, high magnitude earthquakes primarily distribute in the east and coastal area to the south of the fracture, forming a centralized earthquake area in the south. High environmental shear stress area is also centrally distributed to the south of Taizhong-Jinjiang horizontal stratum, exhibiting a northwest-southeast directional feature. |
