Preeclampsia is a leading cause of maternal and fetal/neonatal mortality and morbidity worldwide. Investigating the markers of the disease and their possible mechanism of action is important in order to reduce the risk of the disease. There is now an increasing list of markers of preeclampsia are being investigated. XX is one of them. This is an interesting study presenting the mechanisms of involvement of XX in preeclampsia. However, I think presenting other biochemical markers such as sFlt-1, soluble endoglin, Papp-1, etc along with XX data from their patients would have strengthened their work. （这个reviewer提的指标我倒是能立马补两个ELISA的数据，耗时不长。）
