Before deciding to send your manuscript for review I have read it. In my judgment, your work was carried with care, however your submission fits better other journals than Langmuir. I note, for example there are no any Langmuir references in the bibliography. We receive many more manuscripts than our restricted page budget allows us to accept. Consequently, we must make decisions based on likely scientific impact and interest to our readership. Thank you for your interest in Langmuir.
