本文首次将Sb2S3纳米棒用作光催化剂光催化降解亚甲基蓝,拓展了其应用范围。实验结果表明,用太阳光作光源,Sb2S3对亚甲基蓝具有较高的光催化降解率,表现出较高的可见光催化活性。因此,Sb2S3能有效利用太阳能光催化降解有机污染物,消除环境污染,并可望用作光解水制氢的催化剂,从而解决人类面临的能源短缺问题。

In this paper, it is the first time for Sb2S3 nanorods is used as photocatalyst to take part in photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue, and expands the range of application. The experimental results show that using sunlight as light source, photocatalytic degradation of Sb2S3 on methylene blue performs excellently, showing a higher catalytic activity of visible light. Therefore, Sb2S3 is an effective material to use solar in photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants, as well as elimination of environmental pollution. We expect that this catalyzer can be adopted in water photolysis to produce hydrogen in order to solve energy shortage human have to face.

In addition, Sb2S3 can also use visible light of sunlight to complete excitation, so that it overcomes high energy band gap (Eg = 3.2 eV) of traditional photocatalysts, such as TiO2 and UV light with only less than 387 nm of wavelength that can be excited. So it can increase utilization efficiency of solar energy (less than 5% of ultraviolet rays in sunshine).
