悉尼科技大学，博士招生，全额奖学金：Mechanical / Structural Engineering 已有2人参与

Dr Liya Zhao from the School of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering at the University of Technology Sydney, Australia, is seeking PhD students to work on projects related to the following topics. Full scholarship will be provided (AUD 28,092/year). CSC supported PhD students / visiting students are also welcome. • Small-scale energy harvesting: harnessing renewable energy from vibrations, human motion, wind flows, ocean wave, etc.; developing efficiency enhancement innovations • Smart structures and systems for vibration/noise suppression (metastructures, adaptive structures with composite smart materials) Requirement: Experiences in vibration, nonlinear dynamics, finite element modelling, aerodynamics, programming (e.g., Matlab) and experiments are highly desired; GPA: Master's or bachelor's degree with first- or second-class honors (>4.0/5.0); English: If previous education was not conducted in English, there is English language proficiency requirement. IELTS (Academic) - 6.5 overall, writing 6.0; TOEFL (Internet-based) - 79-83 overall, writing 21. Scholarship: The selected candidates will receive financial support covering full tuition and stipend. The selected candidates will start in Jan 2022. Application deadlines: 15-July 2021.
