澳大利亚 Deakin University 招博士生 已有5人参与

博士招生 Deakin大学是澳洲发展最快的大学，新成立的联合研究院（Institute of Research & Innovation (ITRI)）吸收了许多国际著名研究人员。研究院位于Waurn Ponds分校地处Geelong市, 是维多利亚州第二大城市, 距离墨尔本45分钟车程, 紧邻世界闻名的大洋路。Prof. Chen小组从事纳米功能材料的研究超过15年，现在已经成为世界著名功能材料研究小组，尤其在氮化硼一维纳米材料方面（详细情况请查阅：http://www.rsphysse.anu.edu.au/nanotube/index.php）。Prof. Chen刚从Australian National University(澳大利亚国立大学)搬迁至Deakin大学，在研究设备、研究方向和研究经费上都得到了进一步的完善，新获得200万澳元资助用来购买新的仪器设备。现有仪器设备包括： Zeiss Supra/Leo/Leica SEMs, JEOL TEM, Asylum AFM/SPM (The best in the world), Solartrum Cell Test System, Phillips XRD, TA TGA/DSC/DMA, FTIR等等。现需要招收材料，物理，化学专业的全奖博士生，澳洲博士学制为3年，不用打工，没有毕业答辩，毕业不但可以直接申请移民，并且留校机会众多。 博士生具体待遇与要求如下： The institute has equipped a large range of research facilities and provides a friendly and multicultural research environment. PhD students will work in the following research areas: Synthesis of nanotubes/wires and graphene with controlled structures Mechanical, electric, thermal and optical properties of 1D nanomaterials Applications of nanotubes/wires in batteries, fuel cells and solar cells New advanced composite materials Deakin PhD scholarship: A$20,000-25,000 per year for 3 years tax free. Limited numbers of PhD scholarships including tuition fees are available for international students with excellent university records and English skills.
