【求助完毕】英语翻译，麻烦高手帮忙修改一下，谢谢！

老外对文章语法和表述都不满意，最近在努力修改中。希望高手帮忙看一下下面两句表述有没有问题。谢谢！ 1、Therefore, there has been increasing interest to develop alternative means for diagnosis. Therefore, there has been increasing interest to develop alternative means for diagnosis. 感觉不是很地道啊。 楼主想表示这是个研究热点的意思吗？ 第二句的investigators是要表示研究人员吗？ 不知道researchers或者scientist行不行 而且感觉那个形态和结构的变化跟后面那个癌症早期检测似乎逻辑不对劲啊 希望抛砖引玉，等着高手出山 |

Recently, more and more investigators are looking for optical tools with rapid and non-invasive ability of providing information about morphological and structural changes for the early detection of thyroid cancer 改为：Therefore, developing alternative means for diagnosis has drawn more and more researchers' attentions and they tried to looking for optical tools with rapid and non-invasive ability of providing information about morphological and structural changes for the early detection of thyroid cancer. 修改理由：一是强调去发展另外的方法，故作为主语表示强调；二是西方人一般喜欢用长句。 |

很多明显的chinglish ——抛砖引玉 1、Therefore, there has been increasing interest to develop alternative means for diagnosis. Recently, more and more investigators are looking for optical tools with rapid and non-invasive ability of providing information about morphological and structural changes for the early detection of thyroid cancer 前言部分要具体、再具体，句子要简练。increasing interest to develop alternative means？少用big words，growing interest够了；主语呢？more and more干什么，一个 more就够了；recently具体一些 ；of providing information about 和一个about有什么区别 ； the early detection 的the多于 2、the second harmonic generation (SHG) imaging has been successfully used for imaging structural protein arrays, especially type I collagen which mainly due to the intrinsic non-centrosymmetric structure of collagen successfully used 就是used，有没成功的used的吗？ 后面的mainly 也是，有不mainly 的due to吗？（due to应该是 be due to）前面还有一个especially强调呢；这句话不完整吧...... 有待改进的方面很多。 句法方面的改进更深奥一些，等高人继续吧—— |
