【博导直招】爱尔兰都柏林大学（university college dublin）electrical & electronic engineering学院课题组现招全奖博士。 【学校简介】全球top 1%顶尖名校，位于爱尔兰首都都柏林。爱尔兰目前为欧盟唯一英语国家，高新技术企业聚集，生活环境舒适。 【课题简介】the phd positions generally involve theoretical and applied research in electromagnetics and wireless communications. the research projects cover a broad range of topics, with a particular focus on the development of high-performance computational platforms for emerging wireless technologies in intelligent transportation (air, ground, underground), 5g and beyond wireless communications, underwater communications, indoor/outdoor localization, as well as biomedical sensing and healthcare applications. the successful candidates are expected to conduct research, particularly, but not exclusively in the following topics: (1) physics-based wireless channel modeling and measurement for large-scale environments (indoor, outdoor, underground, underwater, intra-body) as well as the intelligent planning and deployment of wireless communication systems/devices for internet of things (iot) applications. (2) indoor/outdoor localization, radio wave propagation and scattering. (3) numerical modelling and analysis of multiphysics/multiscale problems in computational electromagnetics. (4) application of machine learning and stochastic uncertainty quantification techniques in electromagnetics and wireless communications. (5) metasurface assisted wireless communications, rf/microwave/millimeter-wave design & measurement. specific research topic for the phd position will depend on the candidate’s background. the phd candidate will have a chance to work with industry partners and international collaborators. 【申请要求】获得或即将获得本科/硕士学位的同学。雅思6.5以上（单项至少6）或托福90以上（单项至少20）或 duolingo 110以上。有近2年内海外学位的同学不需要提供语言证明。 【专业要求】电磁，通信，电子及计算机科学等相关专业。硕士和已有科研经历/论文的同学优先考虑。 【博士时间】3 - 4 年。 【入学时间】每年1月、5月和9月三次入学时间点。 【联系方式】有意者请参考导师个人主页（https://people.ucd.ie/xingqi.zhang）并发送简历至导师邮箱（xingqi.zhang@ucd.ie）进行询问。 【备注】（1）有意向通过CSC项目申请博士的同学请在邮件中注明。University College Dublin和CSC有合作项目，导师提供免学费Offer，CSC奖学金涵盖生活费，申请成功几率高。（2）课题组长期接收CSC联合培养及访问学者的申请 [ Last edited by 小木虫336 on 2020-10-14 at 08:38 ] |
