Postdoctoral Fellow in Organic Chemistry: Applications are invited from highly motivated synthetic organic chemists to participate in a multidisciplinary research project funded by the United States Department of Agriculture. To overall objective is to use a molecular imprinting approach for the separation and recovery of high-value pentose derivatives from Cellulosic Biomass. The successful candidate will be responsible for the synthesis and characterization of carbohydrate-based surfactant imprinting molecules. This position requires a strong background in organic synthesis, excellent communication skills, and the willingness to work within a well-integrated interdisciplinary research team.
