MPCE Decision Letter副主编意见 "some revisions"是要大修吗? 已有4人参与

2019年9月23号投稿一篇MPCE,一审三个月,副主编Decision letter里面给出的意见是“The reviewer(s) have recommended publication, but also suggest some revisions to your manuscript. Therefore, I invite you to respond to the reviewer(s)' comments and revise your manuscript.”,这个“some revisions”是大修的意思还是小修的意思呢? 如果是小修的话,投稿系统里面的Decision status给的又是大修(Major revision);但要是大修的话,为什么Decision letter里面不直接说Major revision而用some revisions呢?是副主编在Decision letter里笔误了吗? Reviewer(s)' Comments to Author: Reviewer: 1 Comments to the Author The paper is well written and the subject is meaningful to the power system community. However, as the paper deals with the fault calculation and location in distribution systems, and as the paper is submitted to the Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy, distribution energy resources (DERs) need to be considered. At least, the authors should mention DERs, provide the state-of-the-art in fault calculation with DERs, and explain how would they include DER models for fault calculations into their method. Section II.A, what does multiresolution mean? 2. The symbol l_{fD_i} in section II.C not well defined, what does it mean? 3. Is the Kp-based fault point determination method requiring selecting several candidate fault points first? Why not use least square method on (2) and (4) to estimate the fault location directly? 4. Table II shows that the fault inception time is much larger than the travelling time of waves, which implies that a minor fluctuation of fault inception time on the detectors will significantly affect the detection accuracy. Thus the method requires very high-accuracy characterization and very stable performance of the detectors. Can the authors comment on this? 5. How will the transformers in the distribution network affect the travelling waves and the proposed method? 6. The travelling waves will have reflections on heterogeneous interfaces. How will this phenomenon affect the method? |
