We shall introduce how molecular models for simulating the polymerdynamics and the flow rheology in various polymer systems (i.e.,polymer chain with a flexible, semi-flexible, or rigid backbone in adilute, semi-dilute, or concentrated system) may be established on thebasis of statistical mechanics. Stochastic schemes used to solve themolecular theories will also be discussed. |
