工作学习及任职简历:
1.1968年到1978年在山东机床厂任工人、技术员等职;1978年到山东大学晶体材料研究所,在X射线组从事研究工作;1980年开始从事功能晶体生长,1994年升任教授、1995年博士生导师。曾任山东大学晶体材料研究所所长,晶体材料国家重点实验室常务副主任,材料科学与工程学院副院长等职,现为国际晶体生长组织理事、亚洲晶体生长与晶体技术协会执委、国际晶体学联盟晶体生长及表征分会理事、中国晶体学会副理事长和中国硅酸盐学会晶体生长与材料分会秘书长。
2.1978年7月到10月在北京大学学习X射线理论,其后研究了DKDP晶体相变及NAB晶体结构等;1980年起从事功能晶体制备、表征和应用研究工作,承担了国家973、863、国家自然科学基金重大等项目,生长了NdPP、PrPP、NAB和NYAB系列、KTP系列、KTN系列、LGS系列和化学计量比LiNbO3等多种激光、非线性光学、电光及自倍频晶体;获得国际发明专利6项、中国发明专利22项授权;并获国家发明三等奖,教育部自然科学及科技进步一等奖各一项、中国建材科学发明一等奖和山东省技术发明二等奖等奖励,在国内外刊物发表论文300余篇,编著和参编《探索新晶体》、《晶体形貌学》、《功能材料学概论》等。
3.1984年底到1986年3月和1990年10月到1991年5月以访问学者和高级访问学者在德国科隆大学结晶学研究所工作;自1994年起,多次以客座教授身份在美国 Bowling Green 州立大学讲学和访问研究,和该校长期合作和联合培养研究生;2006年和2007年被聘为马来西亚科技大学客座教授。
在研科研项目:
目前是国家自然科学重大基金项目“功能晶体的低对称性特性、生长规律及应用探索”负责人及其子课题组长,并承担国家973、863、民口配套项目等。


2009年拟招收博士生2人,硕士生2人.
