Bioinformatics投稿直接被编辑拒回来，可以再argue一下吗 已有4人参与

本人之前投Bioinformatics的一篇拙作被拒回来，看起来是编辑直接直接拒稿的。如果是被reviewers给文章批的一无是处倒也罢了，被编辑打回来一点理由也没有让我也很迷茫 。这种情况是因为文章质量着实太差了吗，有没有可能去和编辑argue一下还能得到审稿机会？下附editor的邮件。 Thank you for giving us the opportunity to consider your manuscript for publication in Bioinformatics. I regret that the editors are unable to consider the manuscript for further review. There have been a number of approaches for xxxxxx and only a limited number are evaluated in this work. Given that quite a few approaches have been developed, a more thorough comparison to state-of-the-art is needed. I am sorry to disappoint you, but the journal is currently receiving many more submissions than can be published - over 2000 submissions were received in 2018. Hence only those of the very highest quality and significance are accepted (the editors currently aim for an acceptance rate of ~20-25%). Even though a substantial amount of careful work has been done, I must formally decline the manuscript and am returning it to you without further review so that you can resubmit it elsewhere without delay. Please note that we will not consider any further versions of this manuscript. |
