看了篇文献,有个地方不懂,特来请教电化达人

今天看了篇文献,是最新一期nature material上关于Li-S电池的。开篇有这么一段:One of the most promising candidates for storage devices is the lithiumsulphur cell. Under intense scrutiny for well over two decades, the cell in its simplest configuration consists of sulphur as the positive electrode and lithium as the negative electrode. It differs from conventional lithium-ion cells, which operate on the basis of topotactic intercalation reactions: reversible uptake of Li ions and electrons in a solid with minimal change to the structure. 请问达人什么是 topotactic intercalation reaction呢? 下面又有一段: The lithiumsulphur cell operates quite differently. The redox couple, described by the reaction S8 C16Li$8Li2S lies near 2.2 V with respect to LiC/Lio, a potential about 2=3 of that exhibited by conventional positive electrodes6. However, this is offset by the very high theoretical capacity afforded by the non-topotactic `assimilation' process, of 1,675mAh g. Thus, compared with intercalation batteries, LiS cells have the opportunity to provide a significantly higher energy density (a product of capacity and voltage). Values can approach 2,500Wh kg or 2,800Wh l on a weight or volume basis respectively, assuming complete reaction to Li2S。 请问什么又是non-topotactic `assimilation' process呢? 小弟才疏学浅,刚刚进入锂电领域,还望诸位指教。谢谢!! |
