美国名校--斯坦福大学

一、简介 全称Leland Stanford Junior University，简称Stanford •学校历史：1885年建校，由当时加州州长兼铁路大亨，以他们死去的小儿子命名，以表纪念。1891年开始招生。 •排名：世界大学学术排名ARWU(#2),泰晤士高等教育世界大学排名THE(#3),QS世界大学排名(#3) •地理位置：美国加州湾区（硅谷中心） •斯坦福大学占地约33平方公里（8180英亩），是美国占地面积第六大的大学。 •当然，除了享誉美誉，丰厚的资源，强大的学术背景外，斯坦福大学体育也是拔尖的，里约奥运会获27块奖牌（14金/7银/6铜）。 二、斯坦福大学—能源资源工程 1、能源资源工程总概（Energy Resources Engineering） •学生人数:研究生每年大概20人，中国学生3名左右 •课题组：SupriA；SupriB；SupriD；SCRF；Benson lab；Geothermal Environmental Assessment & Optimization Group •Funding充足，MS都带RA，与工业界联系紧密，暑假实习机会多 2、能源资源工程-课题组介绍 （1）SupriA：Enhanced Recovery of Oil and Unconventional Resources 教授：Anthony Kovscek 研究方向： •Unconventional resources that are hard to produce with conventional techniques (diatomite, siliceous shale, and coal) •Develop cost-effective methods to produce oil and gas from tight rocks •In Situ Combustion •Flow mechanism •Imaging and characterization of rocks （2）SupriB： Reservoir Simulation 教授：Khalid Aziz；Louis Durlofsky；Hamdi Tchelepi； 研究方向： •Efficient computational techniques for the accurate numerical solution of the equations governing multicomponent, multiphase flow in porous subsurface formations. •Modeling of wellbore flow, accurate representation of advanced wells, and integration of the reservoir model with production facilities. •Targets the development of capabilities required for modeling long-term carbon storage and in-situ upgrading of energy resources. tips:课题组相关介绍详解网址：https://earthsci.stanford.edu/ERE/research/supria/ |
