A Ph.D. Student Position at Clarkson University, Potsdam, NY, USA Graduate Assistantship • Approximate Annual Salary: US$26,500 • Tuition: Waived Requirements • MS degree in EE, Physics, ME, CS, Math or other related fields with an interest in pursuing a Ph.D. degree in EE • Good Math/Phys background • Coding experience in C, C++, Python and/or Matlab • Basic understanding of numerical methods • Interested in research publications Tests: • TOEFL • GRE (Exception can be made for strong candidates) Some of the following Additional Qualifications (desired but not required) • Basic knowledge in the finite difference or finite element method • Basic knowledge of VLSI design • Basic knowledge of computer architectures • Basic knowledge in parallel/distributed programming Expectations • Willing to learn interdisciplinary subjects.
