SHELX 97 作者赛尔德雷克（George Sheldrick）的给我的登录名和密码文件 下面是赛尔德雷克（George Sheldrick）给我的附件，里面有登录名和密码username "shelx" and password "P212121"。 同时我们还可以看到在德国它们用的都是Linux的SUSE版本的Server作为构建网站的操作系统；赛尔德雷克（George Sheldrick）自己在维护自己的网站，这点咱们中国科技工作者还是要学习的。呵呵，这是本人的一点感触。 SUSE是德国最著名的Linux发行版，在全世界范围也享有较高的声誉。SUSE自主开发的软件包管理系统YaST也大受好评。SUSE于2003 年年末被Novell收购。Novell公司已经在全公司内部全部使用SUSE Linux，相信凭借Novell公司的技术和经济实力会为SUSE带来更强大的生命力。 SUSE 9.0版本是收费的，而10.0版本又免费发布。这使得一部分用户感到困惑。但是，瑕不掩瑜，SUSE仍然是一个非常专业、优秀的发行版。 SUSE Linux一向以华丽的用户界面著称。 Thankyou for your completed License Registration Form for SHELX-97. You may now down-load the programs by clicking on: http://shelx.uni-ac.gwdg.de/shelx97/ from a browser such as Netscape or Internet Explorer. ftp is not available for security reasons. You will need to give username "shelx" and password "P212121". Note the UNIX systems are "case-sensitive"! This password may be changed from time to time; please contact me if you need a new one. The .tgz files contain the same files as in the corresponding directories, but may be more convenient if you want to download all the files. It may be necessary to set the 'x' attribute for the UNIX executables! The Windows executables MUST be run from the command line in a MSDOS input window! On all systems, the programs should be in the current 'PATH', no extra files or environment variables are required. All the programs are supplied in OPEN SOURCE form as well as binary executables for Linux/Intel, MacOSX/Intel, MacOSX/PPC and MS Windows. If you are using an Intel Mac please be sure to use the right binaries, the PPC versions appear to run (via the emulator) but give wrong answers! The following reference should be cited whenever a program beginning with the letters "SHELX..." is used, including the Bruker SHELXTL system: G.M. Sheldrick, "A short history of SHELX", Acta. Cryst.
