生物材料逐渐发展,这几篇文章对生物材料的发展具有划时代的作用。希望对各位虫虫有所帮助。 1. Framework for nanocomposites Richard A. Vaia* and H. Daniel Wagner November 2004 materialstaday Materials and material development are fundamental to our very culture. We even ascribe major historical periods of our society to materials such as the stone age, bronze age, iron age, steel age (the industrial revolution), polymer age, silicon age, and silica age (the telecoms revolution). This reflects how important materials are to us. We have, and always will, strive to understand and modify the world around us and the stuff of which it is made. As the 21st century unfolds, it is becoming more apparent that the next technological frontiers will be opened not through a better understanding and application of a particular material, but rather by understanding and optimizing material combinations and their synergistic function, hence blurring the distinction between a material and a functional device comprised of distinct materials. 2.Designing materials for biology and medicine Robert Langer David A. Tirrell NATURE |VOL 428 | 1 APRIL 2004 | Biomaterials have played an enormous role in the success of medical devices and drug delivery systems. We discuss here new challenges and directions in biomaterials research. These include synthetic replacements for biological tissues, designing materials for specific medical applications, and materials for new applications such as diagnostics and array technologies. 3.Advances in Biomedical Engineering Linda G. Griffith, P Alan J. Grodzinsky. JAMA, February 7, 2001—Vol 285, No. 5 The most visible contributions of biomedical engineering to clinical practice involve instrumentation for diagnosis, therapy, and rehabilitation. Cell and tissue engineering also have emerged as clinical realities. In the next 25 years, advances in electronics, optics, materials, and miniaturization will accelerate development of more sophisticated devices for diagnosis and therapy, such as imaging and virtual surgery. The emerging new field of bioengineering—engineering based in the science of molecular cell biology—will greatly expand the scope of biomedical engineering to tackle challenges in molecular and genomic medicine. 4.Smart Biomaterials Daniel G.Anderson, Jason A. Burdick, Robert Langer SCIENCE VOL 305 24 SEPTEMBER 2004 More than 2000 years ago, the Romans, Chinese, and Aztecs used biomaterials such as gold for dentistry. Yet it is only with the development of synthetic polymer systems in the past few decades that biomaterials have begun to find broad applications in modern medicine (1). A new wave of advances in cell biology, chemistry, and materials science is enabling the production of a new generation of smart biomaterials. 5.Third-Generation Biomedical Materials Larry L. Hench and Julia M. Polak 2002 VOL 295 SCIENCE Whereas second-generation biomaterials were designed to be either resorbable or bioactive, the next generation of biomaterials is combining these two properties, with the aim of developing materials that, once implanted, will help the body heal itself. 链接: http://www.namipan.com/d/bd06395 ... 27118bca962e08f2200 [ Last edited by wgcui on 2009-5-11 at 09:04 ] |
