prof. jie xu has fully-funded phd positions in the department of electrical and computer engineering at university of miami, starting from 2019 fall.university of miami is ranked #53 in national universities by us news 2019. prof. xu's research is the area of machine learning, internet of things, edge/fog computing and network security. recent papers are published in top conferences such as neurips, aaai, infocom and prestigious journals such as jsac, ton, tmc.
