老板说没钱，让一起申请funding！见下： Dear XXX, I looked at your CV—you have a very impressive record to date. In principle, I would welcome you as a post-doc at the University of Cincinnati to collaborate with me. The critical issue, however, is funding. At present I do not have the funds to support a post-doc researcher—my present NSF grant provides money only for undergraduate lab assistants, one graduate (Ph.D.) student, supplies and travel. Do you have support from the Chinese government or your university for post-doctoral studies abroad? If not, and you are still interested in pursuing the idea of a post-doc at the University of Cincinnati, it would be necessary for us to collaborate and write a grant proposal to fund such a position.
