I4/mmm = I(4/m)mm or I4/(mmm)? A pitfall on the improper rotation axis:: ÆÊÎöӳתÖáÒ»¸öÒ×·¸µÄ´íÎó: Yestday i made a mistake when understanding a particular electron wave function picture for HTSC(high temperature superconductors), but i have found and corrected this mistake. The thing behind this is I4/mmm = I (4/m)mm but not I 4/(mmm). 4/m is a fundamental improper rotation or rotoreflection or rotary reflection axis but DOES not include normal 4-axis operation.
