PhD Positions at NTU, Singapore: 2D-Materials Optoelectronics & Silicon Photonics Advanced Photonics Research (APR) Lab at School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore is seeking two candidates for PhD positions in the field of 2D-materials optoelectronics & silicon photonics for medical applications. The successful candidates are expected to perform one or more of the following tasks: Device design and simulation Fabrication, optical characterizations and analyses The successful candidate should possess: Bachelor degree in electrical engineering, applied physics or related areas GPA higher than 80% Salary and benefits: Monthly salary: SGD 2,000 (2,500) before (after) and PhD qualification exam Tuition is exempted On-campus dormitory is guaranteed for the first two years The maximum PhD duration is 4 years Information on EEE at NTU: Established in 1981, the School of EEE is one of the founding Schools of NTU. NTU EEE has been ranked 6th in the world for the Electrical and Electronic Engineering subject according to the 2017 QS World University Rankings.
