? thank you for your e-mail and your interest in a position as a PhD student in my group here at ###. Unfortunately, I cannot make a statement on the availability of positions in fall 2019 at this time as this will depend on the research fund situation then. Your educational background and scientific expertise appear to be of interest for our activities, but I should mention that PhD students are usually selected in a rather competitive recruitment process.
