斯德哥尔摩大学有机化学系招5个博士

The Department of Organic Chemistry has an extensive research program. This research program covers many areas of experimental and theoretical chemistry including metal catalysis, asymmetric synthesis, several areas of bioorganic chemistry such as carbohydrate chemistry, nucleotide chemistry and enzyme chemistry. The first two years you are financed by study grants and then you will get a doctoral position. The five vacant positions are within the following areas: 1. Two positions in catalytic synthetic organic chemistry 2. One position in NMR spectroscopy and molecular modelling of biomolecules, in particular carbohydrates 3. One position in catalytic organometallic chemistry 4. One position in applied quantum chemistry towards catalysis Qualifications To be accepted as a Ph.D. student in organic chemistry an education at the undergraduate level of at least 240 ECTS is required. Of those credits at least 120 ECTS have to be in chemistry. In addition good knowledge of organic chemistry and other basic subjects of importance for the Ph.D. studied are required. Please find enclosed the application form. A CV, which also should list all courses taken during the undergraduate studies should be attached to the application. Of particular interest is the quantity (as part of an academic year) and quality mark of your courses in chemistry and especially in organic chemistry. If your CV includes an undergraduate thesis, its title and the place where the work was done should be given. A personal letter should be included in the application in which the candidate´s reasons for applying to the PhD program should be given.
