Dear xx Thank you for the e-mail and the interest in our lab. Your track record is impressive and you appear to be an ideal candidate for a PhD. In terms of topic, my work is principally focused on the basic mechanisms of executive function, and dysfunction of them in drug dependence. The work on SZ is with atXx. If you are more interested in the latter, then you might e-mail them about the possibility of PhD positions. In terms of positions in my lab, the main consideration is scholarship funding. The University has scholarships for international students but they require a co-contribution from the supervisor that I don’t currently have.
