I'm ready to listen to you

Sometimes I feel my inability to help others. Recently I have received too many complaints from my relatives and my good friends. Some are trapped in a desperate marriage. Some don't get on well with their families. I am wondering whether these problems are ubiquitous among all of us. Talking with them, I have a complicated mood. As a friend, I'm an outsider of their marriage. What I can do is to listen to them and offer some meaningless suggestions. Maybe they just need a person to pour out their negative feelings. I have no confidence in offering feasible methods to solve their problems. Each person is responsible for his choice and pays for choices he has made. Those who can't get along with their families always complain that they are required to follow parents' arrangements and they have few rights to make their voice heard. To be honest, everyone sees the world with their own perspectives and tend to care about others in their own way. Everyone deserves a blame but everyone needs some sympathy as well. These days my ears are surrounded with various kinds of grumbling, however, I am inable to eradicate their troubles. We all have our own pains and we spend our whole life struggling with them. During the process, we find the true meanging of our life and tell what we are gonna treasure and quit. Sometimes I can find a friend to talk and then I feel much better. Now I realize that if such a person is there ready to hear you, you may get one more chance to grow stronger. |
