The Photo Functional Materials Lab. of Hokkaido Univ., Japan, is recruiting PhD students to be enrolled from Oct. 1, 2009, in the "Joint Graduate School Program" with National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Japan. The program has the following privilege: 1) The students will receive about $2,000 financial supports every month, up to three years from NIMS. 2) A PhD degree from Hokkaido Univ., Japan, will be finally awarded. 3) The travel expenses to Japan will be supported. 4) The students will perform daily research works in NIMS, Tsukuba, Japan, under supervising of Prof. Jinhua Ye. Students with Master degree of Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science are all welcome to apply for the program (Master degree should have been awarded before Oct. 1, 2009). The deadline for pre-screening of the candidates is May 1, 2009 (However, the application will be closed earlier as soon as the candidates reach a fixed number). 对日语没有要求，英语六级及以上就行。 过去之后可以一边做研究一边学语言。 Prof. Ye的研究组中国人比较多，语言的问题不大， 关键是英语不能太差， 毕竟组会、和日本人小老板交流还有写文章都是用英文。 如有疑问，请联系shuxinouyang@gmail.com |
