香港理工大学诚招金属材料相关方向2018年Ph.D. 已有6人参与

香港理工大学工业及系统工程学系杨许生助理教授 (Dr. X.S. Yang, Assistant Professor), 从事金属材料的制备及相关性能机制研究（着重发展和利用高分辨透射电镜及原位高分辨透射电镜技术（HRTEM and In-situ HRTEM）在原子尺度上研究微观结构变化及机制）. 包括: High strength-ductility and machinability materials, Martensitic phase transformation, Nanostructured or High-entropy alloys, 3D printing, HRTEM and in-situ HRTEM techniques (In-situ HRTEM mechanical loading experiments, in-situ HRTEM heating experiments and in-situ HRTEM liquid chemical reaction experiments), etc. 诚招金属材料相关方向的本科生或研究生申请 2018年 Ph.D. 及Research Associate. Ph.D. application requirements and information: 1. PolyU English Requirement: IELTS - overall 6.5 (writing 6.0); or TOEFL - IBT 80 (writing 23); PBT 550 (writing 4). 2. PhD studentship: The application should have strong records in materials science and engineering. It provides the monthly stipend of around HK$ 16,200 per month. The submission deadline for the application is 30 December 2017. 3. Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS): The application should have excellent records (graduated university, GPA, and publications, etc.). It provides a monthly stipend of HK$20,000 and Conference and Research related travel allowance of HK$10,000 per year for awardees for a maximum period of three years. In addition, PolyU will award those with a four-year normal study period the same provision during their fourth year of study and award each Ph.D. Fellowship with a tuition scholarship covering the entire normal study period. The submission deadline for the application is 1 December 2017. Research Associate requirement: 1. The priority will be given to the applicants with Ph.D. degree and with the experience related to the in-situ HRTEM. Other information and links: 1.
