No. Open Access is related to how people get access to your publications. Gold means immediate access, green may be delayed access after embargo. Obviously, if you pay to publish in Open Access the price is different, Gold is more expensive than Green, and sometimes you do not have to pay Green Open access at all if your research was funded by some government agencies. It's not so easy to explain in a single post in a forum. The ACS and Elsevier have good documents that you can read about this. Explaining this takes some time, and it has become more complex. I actually teach in workshops this and other things for publications, because it's confusin. Essentially Gold Open means that once the paper is published is available for free for everyone (open access) without any "embargo" period, which may happen in Green Access.
