PhD/Postdoc positions in advanced modeling of materials

A Ph.D. and a postdoc position are now available in the area of advanced molecular modeling of materials at the George Washington University. The positions will start in Spring 2018. For learning research activities, please visit https://blogs.gwu.edu/tsli/. For Ph.D. position The qualified applicants for Ph.D. should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or related engineering and science fields. A good GPA is essential for admission. The candidates with keen interest in theory and computation are encouraged to apply. Experience in coding and Unix/Linux environment is preferred. For postdoc position The qualified applicants for postdoc should have a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or related engineering and science fields. The candidate should have substantial training in theory and modeling at molecular/quantum level. It is desirable that the candidate also has the experience in coding, and research experience in molecular dynamics/density functional theory.
