China The Visual Computing Group of Microsoft Research Asia, Beijing, China, has two immediate openings for Researcher/Associate Researcher/Postdoc in the areas o f pattern recognition, computer vision, Image/graphics processing, and applied machine learning. Candidates are expected to hold a Ph.D. or MS in CS, EE or related fields with a strong publication record in major journals and conferences. Candidates nee d to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, be able to work independently on problems, be an effective team player and be willing to accept challenges and responsibility. About Microsoft Research Asia Founded in 1991, Microsoft Research (MSR) is dedicated to conducting both basi c and applied research in computer science and software engineering. Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA), formerly known as Microsoft Research China, wa s founded in November of 1998.
