看了一篇water research上关于微生物降解的文章——Effect of substrate characteristics on microbial community structure, function, resistance, and resilience; application to coupled photocatalytic-biological treatment，里面有几处都提到了spike（刺？钉？），求翻译。 1. A spike of 100 mM 2,4,5-trichlorophenol was then applied to each chemostat. 2. but it may not be well suited to handle toxic spikes. 3. did not yield a microbial community with strong resistance and resilience to a TCP spike |

A spike of 有这个词组，可以表达一系列 2. but it may not be well suited to handle toxic spikes. 这里的spike应该是“尖状物”，微生物领域的toxic spike 有毒额尖状物，您可以考虑一下 3. did not yield a microbial community with strong resistance and resilience to a TCP spike 这个spike应该是上升，“对于TCP的上升有较强的抵抗力和恢复力，这种微生物群落并没有产生“” |
