第一封 I am afraid your first mail could not reach to me. Anyway you may know you have to pass the entrance exam held in the end of August. http://www.t.u-tokyo.ac.jp/soee/admission/index.html Can you visit our university only for the exam at the time? Or how about getting CSC scholarship? Anyway you will not survive in Tokyo without scholarship because everything is so expensive. 第二封 In our lab, I used to ask candidates abroad to get scholarship before joining us. As I wrote to you, the Tokyo life is so tough. Then I do NOT think you need to experience such a life in Tokyo before the entrance exam. To get CSC or to pass the exam with a scholarship (MEXT or something like that) is a minimum requirement to join us.
