RESEARCH POSITION AVAILABLE

Wenzhou Institute of Biomaterials and Engineering, WIBE (/https://www.wibe.ac.cn/) is recruiting research staff to take part in a research programme on bio-ink development and highly ordered 3D protein-based hydrogel platforms for 3D printing, liver tissue engineering, and drug screening applications.

Applications are invited for appointment to the following positions:

(A) Research Staff

Requirements:
• Master or Ph.D. degree in Chemistry/Polymer Chemistry/Materials Science
• Research experience in organic synthesis, biomaterials, protein modification or other related fields would be advantageous.
• Candidate should have experience in organic/polymer synthesis and characterization techniques (FT-NMR, FT-IR, SEM, Rheology, and HPLC) related to the above field.

(B) Research Staff

Requirements:
• Master or Ph.D. degree in cell biology.
• Research experience in primary hepatocyte culture (liver tissue engineering) or other related fields would be advantageous.
• Candidate should have experience in primary cell culture and characterization techniques (PCR, Immunohistochemistry, and Confocal microscopy) related to the above field.

The candidate is expected to oversee the progress of various related projects and to be involved in preparing manuscripts for submission to English language peer-reviewed journals.
