Applications are invited for one PhD student position Fall 2017. Yes, it is still available, and you still have time apply if act promptly. The laboratory of Professor Zhu is in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at University of North Texas. The student will work on Biochemistry, Cell biology, Molecular biology and Signalling as well as novel biomaterials. The candidate will benefit from the opportunity to broaden their skill set, mentorship in a diverse research community, experience in mentoring junior researchers, exposure to medical device prototyping, and access to the facilities and faculty of a major research university. A new $20 million BME building is on the way, will be ready to use in 2019. The University of North Texas is classified as one of the 115 "highest research" universities in the country, according to the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education.
