ÕªÒª: This paper development a method for residential value evaluation using value engineering and AHP. First, function index system and cost index system are set up, and in accordance with different carrier objects of functions. And then AHP method is used to determine index weight. Each index score rule is given, and basic principles of AHP method arc used to do comprehensive assessment for residential value. And then AHP method is used to determine index weight. Each index score rule is given, and basic principles of AHP method arc used to do comprehensive assessment for residential value. Finally the application of the model is explained with an engineering example. This examples shows that the method of value engineering combined with AHP analysis model to determine the residential value is a simple, practical and effective decision-making method, which has a positive significance for consumers, real estate developers and relevant government departments.
