关于排列组合的。。。

Question: The number of permutations of the four letters a,b,c and d is 24, but what is the number of permutations if we take only two of the four letters or, as it is usually put, if we take the four letters two at a time? Solution: We have two positions to fill,with four choices for the first and then three choices for the second. Therefore, the number of permutations is 4*3=12. 是不是我没有理解“as it is usually put, if we take the four letters two at a time？”的意思，我认为这个答案仅仅是解决了“ but what is the number of permutations if we take only two of the four letters”而没有解决后面的问题。因为我认为前面一问是：只拿两次，每次一个，则为12。而后面则是：拿两次，每次拿两个，则应为6。我的翻译错了么？ [ Last edited by zzgyb on 2009-1-17 at 09:27 ] |
