博后套磁外导回复：没有位置，但邀请去访问一周，包吃住和旅费，啥意思？ 已有3人参与

套磁加拿大一大牛外导，回复如下，请各位指点。 1、说没有位置但邀请去访问一周，包吃住差旅费。啥意思？ 2、访问时间为4-6月，是不是有点晚？到时候很多外导都招到博后了。我还想套套其他外导。 3、如何回复他？ xxx, Thanks for this. While I am not planning to take on a new Post Doc, your e-mail exchanges and CV suggest to me that I should continue the discussion with you (i.e. you are impressive). Might you be able to make a visit to me in Saskatoon in the Spring (sometime between April 1 and June 30) for perhaps 7-14 days so that we can meet and see how we might connect and possibly work together? I usually only take on Post Docs who have come to me through colleagues. A visit could be useful perhaps for both of us? I’d cover your flight, your accommodation here and reimburse you for meals, taxi etc in Saskatoon. –J PS New little paper attached FYI that came out a few days ago… |
