Chapter 2 Get your OSHC card How to get your OSHC（Overseas Student Health Cover）card? The majority of PhD students purchase our own health insurance. The cheapest one is Nib. It’s totally excellent for our limit budget. Please follow these steps to get your OSHC card: (1) . Go to the Nib website and sign in. https://www.nib.com.au/ (2) . You can see your person detail, such as visa details, your policy No., order a new card and so on. （figure 1） (3) . Click the MY POLICY button and edit personal details. You should fill your mobile number, email address, home address and preferred method of contact. （figure 2） (4) . After that, save it and then click the top line “OVERVIEW” button. You will see the “ORDER A NEW CARD” button, please click it and choose the “card not received” in the selection of reason. Then click the “submit” button. （figure 3） (5) . On the second day, you will get an email form the Nib. They said that you have updated your information and they will send you insurance card by post in ten working days.
