Graduate positions for photonics/materials

| The Yan Lab at Clarkson University in New York State has openings for MS and PhD students in 2017. The group works on nano-engineered photonics and materials, including optical trapping and manipulation techniques, optoelectronic materials and devices, optofluidics, and electrodynamics simulations. One of the current projects is to build photonic materials from nanoscale Optical Matter by light-driven self-organization, which is funded by NSF. We welcome students with backgrounds in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering.
