[交流] Opening for PhD students at City University of Hong Kong

We are now having opening for PhD students from a variety of backgrounds (mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, chemistry, biology). Candidates with cell culture, nanotechnology, or microfabrication will be highly preferred.

Our lab is focusing on leveraging micro/nanotechnology for biomedical applications. In particular, we are interested in investigation of cell’s left-right bias, e.g. rightward biased migration. This research provides a fundamental framework in guiding cell mechanics, stem cell differentiation, and tissue regrow. In addition, We are also interested in development of biosensors based on DNA nanomachine. That is to detect biomarkers in live cells or visual assays for portable biosensors.

Monthly studentship: HKD 15,900
Regular study period in CityU: 3 years
