有人遇到这种问题吗？国外博后的教授回复

信件如下： Thank you for your application. I am glad you have an interest in our group. Unfortunately the selection procedure for that position was already closed before I got your documents. However, since your background seems to fit very well with our group profile, we would be interested in working with you in the near future. In order to do that, we need to acquire a new project for getting funding for the position. So the question is, if you are interested to work with me on a project proposal to reach the goal? This would have the advantage that if we are successful, you would work on a project you like. Of course, there is a risk, we won’t get the money in the first trial and it can take some longer time. Theoretically there are good chances for receiving grants, as the research field you are familiar with is very attractive and there are many different financing sources for this. Please let me know your opinion on this suggestion. 大家帮我看看应该怎么办，我发了50多封邮件了，回复大约就十封，都是坏消息，唉 |

I think he meant that you could give him a research proposal he can apply for a research program that will fund your position in his group. Thus, whether you can go there is up to the research program. You can try but it is difficult, personally. BTW, me too. I cannot find a Postdoc position now neither. Someone said it is because of the CSC scholarship for Chinese so that boss prefers to the funding. But it is difficult to say.  Anyway, wish you and me good luck.
