Iron oxyhydroxides (FeOOH), with α-, β-, and γ-phases, are among the most common constituents of the Earth's crust. They play a crucial role in regulating the mobility of phos?phates in natural aquatic and soil environments, as phos?phate ions can be strongly bound to the surface of FeOOH. Intensive efforts have been devoted to the study of the inter?actions between PO4 3? and FeOOH, covering a great number of topics, such as the phase and size effects of FeOOH,35,36 the nature and conditions for the formation of iron phos?phate on the surface,36–38 and the surface adsorption models and mechanisms.12,37,39–41 To our knowledge, there is no re?port on the intended synthesis of bulk iron phosphates from FeOOH. 发自小木虫Android客户端 |
