学术编辑“失联”情况，撤稿是否合适？ 已有4人参与

一个综合类sci期刊，投稿4个多月出现了学术编辑“失联”情况（见粗体字描述），审稿流程又回到原点“with editor”，是撤稿还是继续等待？请大家给个建议。谢谢。 编辑邮件如下： Dear XXX, Thank you for submitting your manuscript XXX to XXX. I would like to take this opportunity to give you an update on the status of your submission. Unfortunately, the Academic Editor originally assigned to handle your submission is now unavailable. To expedite the review process, we are searching for a new editor to handle your manuscript. We sincerely apologize for this delay, but please know that we are doing all that we can to move your paper forward. We will be in contact as soon as a new Academic Editor is secured. Thank you for your patience and understanding. If we can answer any of your questions or concerns in the meantime, please do not hesitate to get in touch. |
