Due to environemntal pollution, abuse of chemical reagents and toxins, chemical hazards have become major cause for food safety incidents in China. Furthermore, rapid detection technology has been an essential tool in sample screening and field test. As a result, the research on rapid detections of chemical hazards has become a hot spot at home and abroad. In this review, the application of rapid detection technology on chemical hazards in aquatic product was summarized. Besides, the development of sample pre-treatment and rapid detections were introduced in detail. At last, the trends of rapid detection of chemical hazards in aquatic products was discussed.
