SSCI 投稿 with editor 18天？ 已有1人参与

投稿ssci with editor 一周后 催稿 编辑回复 文章她看过了 并且给了很多意见 包括参考文献 但是据稿了。 花了一个月按照编辑的意见进行了修改，以后重新投稿，已经with editor 18天 请问会不会初审再被拒，因为第一次编辑没说据稿重投。 自己修改重投的，请大神帮忙看看，这种情况with editor 18天了 还会送什么 现在不敢再问编辑了，因为第一次问了被拒。。。 |

I am writing to let you know that I have read your paper and decided against sending it for review. While there is interest in the writing of dissertation abstracts across different disciplines, I am afraid that the study described in the paper is not up to the standard that we require for publication in ESP. In my opinion the paper gives far too little information on how the analysis was done; what the research corpus characteristics are (other than land science dissertation abstracts written by students receiving PhDs in the US and in China); or what measures were taken to ensure reliability and validity of the results. There is no synthesis of the results that allows readers to understand what exactly was found. The paper also is not situated within the ongoing discussions in the field of doctoral student writing. In fact, there are no references to some of the very important work in Applied Linguistics, which is central to the research story of dissertation abstract writing. For instance, there is no mention of the work of Swales or Hyland, two key figures in the field. Instead the research relies on less known publications, which are likely unfamiliar to our international readers. In light of these concerns, I am not able to consider your work for publication in English for Specific Purposes. I would, however, encourage you to become more familiar with the work in the field. A good start would be to review the papers published in English for Specific Purposes, the Journal of Second Language Writing and the Journal of English for Academic Purposes.
