Three methods, such as traditional wounding assessment, animal experiment and wounding assessment based on impact pressure, are used to evaluate the wounding efficiency of the flexible anti-riot kinetic projectile. The experimental results show that the traditional lethality assessment method is not appropriate for the flexible anti-riot kinetic projectile, and the lethality assessment method based on impact pressure could be adopted to evaluate the wounding efficiency of the flexible anti-riot kinetic projectile while the one-quarter principle is used. © 2016, China Ordnance Society.
