由华夏板块 与 扬子板块的 碰撞作用 形成的 华南板块，是 全球的 稳定板块 之一。华南板块 在 早古生代时期 发生 强烈的 构造-热事件，导致了 巨厚沉积物 被抬升，并且形成了 加里东褶皱造山带；在中生代 时期，其构造体制 发生了 巨大的 转变，表现为 印支期特提斯构造域 转换为 燕山 晚期太平洋构造域，即 陆陆碰撞 造山挤压环境 转换为 板内拉张环境。在 新生代时期，部分 沿海地区 发生 小块的 玄武岩浆 喷发，由 火山弧 构造环境 转换为 板内裂谷构造环境。因此，华南板块，不仅是 研究 板块构造 和 动力学的 重要场所，而且 对于 研究 中国 大陆板块的 形成、演化 及 大地构造格局 具有 重要意义。
South China plate, which was resulted from the collision action between Huaxia plate and Yangtze Plate, is one of stable plates in current world. Early in the paleozoic era, South China plate was subjected to intense tectonic heat event, which led to the lifting of giant thick sediment and thus formed caledonian folding orogenic belt. In mesozoic era, the tectonic regime of south China plate experienced huge changes, which can be mainly reflected by the transformation from indosinian tethyan tectonic realm into late Yanshanian pacific tectonic domain (i.e. transformation from continental collision orogenic compression environment into intraplate extensional environment). In cenozoic era, there occurred the exhalation of small pieces of basaltic magmas in some coastal regions, and the volcanic arc tectonic environment was changed into the intraplate rift tectonic environment. Therefore, south China plate is not only an important site for researching plate tectonics and dynamics, but also of great significance to the research of the formation, evolution, structural framework of China continental plate. |
