最近审稿回来reviewer有个问题不知道怎么回答： 我是用16s rRNA miseq高通量测序测的五氯酚（PCP）降解过程中微生物群落的变化，我们做高通量的结果通常都是用相对丰度的变化来表示某个属的变化，看reviewer意思需要其他定量结果，之前投的文章也没有遇过种问题，因为高通量的结果用相对丰度表示都是比较被认可的，所以我也不想补定量的实验，想问一下大家这么问题要怎么回答才能让reviewer比较满意，谢谢！  问题如下： The authors argue some particular bacteria are enriched in the microcosm spiked with PCP by comparison of relative abundance of the bacteria within prokaryote. However, there is no data about total population of bacteria in the microcosm. Without the data of total population or quantitative monitoring of the target bacteria, we cannot know the bacteria increased in the microcosm or not. |
