Postdoc positions in Immunology 已有3人参与

Postdoc Positions are immediately available at Dr. Qi Yang's Laboratory at Albany Medical College. The Yang Laboratory is a newly established laboratory, focusing on the biology of Innate Lymphoid Cells. Innate Lymphoid Cells are a new family of lymphocytes that play critical roles in mucosal immunology. This is an exploding field with lots of opportunities. The Yang laboratory focuses on the transcription control of lymphocyte development and function in homeostasis and various disease states. Dr. Yang's papers have been published in many high-impact journals, including Nature Immunology, Immunity, Nature and Science. We currently have two major projects, with exciting preliminary data. We are looking for talented postdocs to work together with me, and to publish high-impact papers within a relatively short time frame. Lab is fully established, and experiments on both projects are going on. Hence we hope that the potential postdoc can come prior to Oct 1st. Postdocs and students will be the first-authors on all papers generated from their own projects. We also hope that postdocs read, think, and take an active role in pursuing their careers. 全是一作的文章，申请了有机会独立一作吗？这个很重要！ Of course. You will be first-authors on all papers generated from your project. However, we will only work on papers with impact factor higher than 10. As said, our lab is newly established early this year. The publications shown are my postdoc work within the last five years. I have brought several new research projects with me to my new lab. In our new lab, my technician and myself have worked very hard, and we have generated exciting preliminary data from at least two projects. However, I have to be the last/corresponding author on all papers from now on. Hence, students and postdocs will be the first authors on all papers. |
